Pastor Duret Gray, M.S.

Pastor Duret Gray is currently Jurisdictional Secretary, and Chief of Staff has been for the past seven years. Pastor Gray has a Bachelor of Science in Counseling Psychology from Christian Heritage College in El Cajon, CA, a Master of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling from San Diego State University in San Diego, CA. Pastor Gray is a Certified Leadership Facilitator from Interaction Associates in Boston, MA. Pastor Gray After twenty-one years of service in the Marine Corps, Pastor Gray served in The COGIC ministry and has since 1975, while working with the United States Navy as a counselor and life skill educator. While working on his master's Pastor Gray was a Rehabilitation Counselor for the Department of Veterans Affairs for two years and is still helping veterans today to increase their compensation. As a Community Organizer for the San Diego Organizing Project, Gray helps congregations developed a community model organization moving the churches outside their walls and into their communities.

During Pastor Gray's ten years as Adjunct Faculty with San Diego State University and North Texas State University, Gray taught the CORE accredited graduate courses in all aspects of the rehabilitation-counseling curriculum via distance technology (online). He has conducted continuing education training, workshops, and seminars in alcohol and drug abuse education/prevention, diversity, human resource development, and related disability areas. Pastor Gray has taken his training over the years and has developed an online two-year Bible College for Southern California Fourth Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction called SoCal Fourth Bible College.
